Always having a passion in designer fashion and beauty Omar Palmer decided to pursue his dream. In 2005, he studied fashion design and merchandise, joined W.I.B.O and Projects Enterprise. With a small business loan, help from family and friends, and money from his personal savings account he incorporated.

 

Omar Palmer opened his design studio office in Brooklyn, where he launched a women’s wear capsule collection which sold at Harriet’s Alter Ego, a concept boutique located in Prospect Heights, a neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. After beginning his clothing line and meeting with other fashion designers from the New York City Tristate area, Omar Palmer had started to notice the effects of globalization on small businesses and start-up entrepreneurs in the fashion and beauty industries.

Due to economic changes the store closed. Omar Palmer transformed that change and began a consulting firm Omar Palmer Inc., whose primary focus is to enrich small businesses and beginning entrepreneurs. Currently, he leads a small team that offers services with BUI custom reporting of KPI indicators to drive sales and consumer loyalty with clients in the fashion and beauty industries.  Omar Palmer Inc. now has expanded services to non-profit organizations and visual artists.
